A pilot in February 2026 supported 50 patients aged six months to 85 years, at a cost of over GH¢4.8 million. The national programme opens in June 2026 through 29 hospitals, starting with breast, cervical, prostate and childhood cancers. Applications are made by specialists, not by patients directly.
